Response to clarification by AAJTAK on Kejrival-Punya interview scandle

Dear Editors at Aajtak,

I appretiate your immediate clarification on the 'kejriwal' interview issue. While I must complement you on your comprehension skills, which you effectively use, to mask your brazen contempt for your audience, ill-logic still reeks from the edges. Indiscriminate use of words like 'ethical/moral/highest standards' as an adjective to journalism, not only imparts a comic flavor to the entire apology but also indicates the (un) importance they are bestowed in the over all 'value system' of the organization.

Let me draw your attention to the 'no EDIT' logic of yours, which somehow, the entire Aajtak group is trying to re-invent as a new journalistic benchmark. I ask you a simple question, why would an editing be needed, if the Interview Questions and its responses are previously decided and rehearsed upon? It is synonymous to saying,NO CHEATING was allowed in the exam, where the question paper has already been leaked.

The role of the moderator/interviewer is to ask questions to elicit an impromptu response, not giving subject time and opportunity, enough to concoct stories. In case, as it happens, with your channel, the responses were predetermined and discussed. Moderated questions may have been asked so that the answers of Mr Kejriwal, were as intended and agreed upon. Where is the need of editing then? Again, even if we agree, that student (Kejriwal) had come prepared with certain answers, and he would have given the same replies irrespective, does it still not raise questions on the 'conduct' of the Teacher(interviewer), who decides to update and discuss the answer with a 'favored' student of his, prior to the exams?

Awaiting your response.

Yours Sincerely
